Wedding Photography and Videography in Utah

This Salt Lake City Temple Wedding Highlight Film for Jane & Preston turned out amazing!! The colors, the smiles, the great families – what more could you ask for?!! My favorite shot was when they clasped their behind Jane’s back – it was just magical to me for some reason. Here is a screen shot from the video. Here is a review Preston gave us on Wedding Wire. “It was such a good experience having our wedding video made by Pointe Digital. Doug Larson did such a good job filming us and made us feel comfortable and excited. His capturing and editing skills are top-notch and he went above and beyond to produce good footage and really memorable video content for us. He was able to create our wedding video on DVD and Blu-ray! Highest recommendations.”

The reception tonight was at The Vista at Cedar Hills. The views there are spectacular. I highly recommend The Vista for anyone looking for a venue in the north east part of Utah County. This video is the same day edit that was played at the reception. This is what we do, this is what we are very good at. If you want your Temple Highlight Film to play at your wedding reception, then you really need to consider Pointe Digital. We can bring large flat screen tv’s, projectors, and even sound systems if you wanted to do a grand showing to all of your guests at one time – that is always a highlight at receptions (that way everyone gets to see the entire film instead of just a minute or two). The same day edit is very important to us because we know it is very important to our clients. Even if we only had one hour, we can create a highlight film that you will love!!   Do you want a Salt Lake City Temple Wedding Highlight Film like this? Call us today to see what we can do for you.

Filming Breanna & Brendons wedding at the Jordan River Temple was interesting. Breanna is my niece so it’s safe to say that “her” family has seen more of my videos than any other family out there. Everything turned out amazing. Breanna was so happy, you could just feel it. I think she really did well in choosing Brendon, they just seem to belong to each other. I’m sure my brother and his wife couldn’t be happier for her. I started out using some of the drone shots Davey got last week at the Jordan River Temple and that always captures your attention with shots like that. And of course we did the photography also – here are a few of my favorite shots of Breanna & Brendon at the Jordan River Temple.Jordan River Temple Wedding
For the reception that night, they chose the Arbor Manor reception center in West Valley City. OK, this is crazy, but I’ve been shooting weddings for 16 years and this is the first time I’ve been there – it was amazing. I highly recommend Arbor Manor if you are looking to have your wedding and/or reception in West Valley. So, once again, Congratulations Breanna & Brendon, we were honored to be apart of your wedding day celebration!!

It was barely over 100 degrees at the St. George Temple while filming Aryn & Dave. That is a nice cool day down there. This was a fun wedding for me because I went to high school with Aryn’s mom so it was fun to see her and some other friends I have not seen in a long time. But, that means the pressure is on to deliver an amazing wedding video at the St. George Temple. This is what Aryn posted on her facebook page about the video. “Here’s the video of us outside the temple on our wedding day! I am obsessed with it and every time I watch it I find a new favorite part. Doug Larson with Pointe Digital Photography & Videography are the very greatest. They even had it ready to view at our reception that night!!!” Mission accomplished. Rochelle also did the photography. Another quote from Aryn talking about the photography, “Our beautifully perfect day at the temple and at our reception. It was SO fun and SO perfect. If you want yours to be this great, go check out Pointe Digital!!!”Bride & Groom St. George TemplePerfect Wedding RIngs PictureSometimes, you just don’t want a wedding to end (even though we drove home that night), but they were just having so much dancing the night away. And if you are looking for an awesome reception center in Cedar City, Utah, you really need to check out Stonehaven. It was amazing and its going to be less than a mile away from the new Temple in Cedar City.

All in all, what a great wedding and family. Congratulations Aryn & Dave on your new life together. We look forward to seeing you at many more weddings in the near future. You guys are both amazing!!

If you were anywhere in the SLC Valley yesterday, you probably didn’t expect an Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple Wedding Highlight Film to end up like this. On our qay to the Temple the skies were completely black on the west side of the valley. You could see the rain just pouring down but once they came out of the Temple, it only rained a tiny bit and then it cleared up and made for an incredible day of pictures and video. I absolutely loved filming Melissa & Chris, they are so much in love and seeing the way they just looked at each other made my job easy. At the reception, I found out that Chris and his friends took video of themselves singing “Best day of my life” (the same song used in this video) while they were driving to the Temple. It was EPIC!! And then while we were filming at the Temple, Melissa & Chris broke out a few times in song and dance. Love these guys!! Rochelle was the photographer and she had already done their bridal and engagement pictures and had warned me how awesome they were. I think Chris is in the running to get Groom of the Year. He even played the guitar and sang a song to Melissa at the reception – I’ll just say he isn’t the best singer I’ve heard – but, everyone loved it. The reception was at Magnolia Grove, which is always a great place for your wedding or event. Congratulations Melissa & Chris, you made your Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple Wedding Highlight Film perfect!!

Creating this Payson Temple Highlight film for Maycee & Trevor was simply amazing.  I was so excited to be able to shoot there for the first time, one week after the Payson Temple opened.  Even though it was hot and the trees still need a fews years to mature, it was just amazing.  The detail on the Payson Temple, both inside and out is breathtaking.  I was able to take my family through the Temple when they had the open house to the public (I highly recommend that btw).  And then to top it off, I love seeing couples that are truly in love.  Maycee & Trevor were so much fun to be around and work with.  We could have shot there all day – except for how hot it was and they had other wedding things to do that day – imagine that.   I’m quite certain that the Payson Temple will become one of the busier ones in Utah, it is just spectacular!!  I was also able to create two other videos for Maycee & Trevor – a Save The Date video and also their First Look/Bridal video.  Both of these turned out awesome as well.  And then to top off the day, they had a luncheon/reception at the Alpine Arts Center in Alpine, Utah.  You can never go wrong by having your wedding or reception there, it always looks amazing.  There is enough room inside or outside or both if you want it for your wedding.  The nice part for me was being able to go home early that night – they started at 5pm.  In review, I highly recommend getting married at the Payson Temple.  The Alpine Arts Center – two thumbs up!!  And yea, Pointe Digital to capture it all and create priceless videos for you to enjoy the rest of your life – I really recommend that!!

  • Elizabeth - Amanda – These pictures are amiznag!! Can’t wait to see them hanging in the house! You guys are beautiful inside and out and I am so lucky to be your babysitter! Seeing William and Lauren grow up is such a blessing!ReplyCancel
