Wedding Photography and Videography in Utah

We seriously love doing Family Photos for these guys. We shot their wedding in 2003 (video) and have shot their family pictures multiple times since then.

Wedding at the Benson Grist Mill

Amanda & Tylor @ The Benson Grist Mill

The Benson Gristmill is an amazing place to have a wedding!! This place is deep with history, click HERE to check it out.

Now about the wedding – Amanda & Taylor, what can I say – Wow, love was in the air. Just the way Taylor looked at Amanda made it all perfect. This is from the review Amanda gave us on Wedding Wire. “Doug (videographer) and his wife Rochelle (photographer) made our wedding day a day to remember 8/15/15:) We absolutely adore all our pictures and videos. They took our engagements, love story video and photo montage along with bridals, and wedding day photography and videography. We also rented their photo booth which was a blast and you can use a picture for your guest book and then one for the guest to keep. You also get the CD of all the pictures and videos your guest take on the photo booth. I can’t tell you enough how much we we appreciated Pointe Digital. AMAZING!!!! They were great to work with and always got back to us right away. Only took couple of days to get our pictures and videos back. I would recommend using them for both video and photos, they work so well with each other. They know what they are are doing and take so many photos, the quality of their work is unbelievable. It was so much fun to work with them and will use them for other events in the future!! We loved our experience with Doug and Rochelle (and meeting their cute kids):) Thank you for helping us make our wedding special and something we will always remember!”

LDS Payson Temple Wedding

Lindsay & Andy @ The LDS Payson Temple.

This LDS Payson Temple Wedding Film for Lindsay & Andy is amazing. I love the time lapse at the beginning with the clouds going by the Temple. The wind definitely had a part in this wedding. It was just enough to make things interesting without taking over – which was a good thing. There is a shot at the end of the film (@ 3:20) that is perfect. I love how the lens captures both of them kissing with that beautiful sky above them and then the sun peaking though at the just the right moment. After seeing how this wedding film turned out, I am looking forward to many more LDS Payson Temple Wedding Film’s. And how can I forget the socks the groom and all his friends were wearing. This is definitely a trend that I like.

The reception was at the Northampton House. We have filmed scores of weddings there over the years and it is always amazing.  If your wedding is in the American Fork, Lehi, area, you really need to check out the Northampton House.  They have two main rooms you can use and even a garden area.  On their website, the description I like best is this – “beautiful landscaping, stained glass windows, moldings, hardwood floors and grand staircases throughout.”  Yep, that about sums it up, simply amazing.

  • Zine - Donna Bishop Buckles – My precious red hdaeed grandbabies are so beautiful. Pictures are absolutely fantastic. I could just reach through the camera and squeeze them to pieces. All my love. I am so proud of them. Achoo/grandmotherhj.ReplyCancel

Salt Lake City Temple Wedding

Rebecca & Alex at one of my favorite spots at their Salt Lake City Temple Wedding

This Salt Lake City Temple Wedding Film was one of my favorites for many reasons. By capturing the busyness of the city to start out the video, by using parts of the speeches each of their Dads gave at the luncheon during the Temple preview, and incorporating slow and fast motion in a few different clips – these things combined just raised the sbar for me personally. And then you have Alex’s socks, yea, I have got to get a pair of those. The clip at 5:12 in the film is my favorite shot. The angle, the lighting, the time of day, the colors, just everything about it – I almost should have left it on there a bit longer.  It still amazes me how awe inspiring the SLC Temple is.  Knowing it took the Pioneers 40 years to build the Temple and that everything was done by hand and yet it still stands today as beautiful as ever – it is just amazing!!

Their reception was at The Bungalow in Pleasant Grove, Utah.  The garden area is perfect for weddings.  It’s intimate yet big enough to handle large crowds.  And I can’t say enough about the staff, it is a family run business and they know what they are doing.

First Look & Bridals

Tricia covering Zach’s eyes right before the first look.

Tricia & Zach’s First Look & Bridals film is great!! Zach was so nervous seeing Tricia for the first time in her wedding dress (she look stunning) and I was so glad I had a wireless mic on him for the reveal. We filmed this at Crestwood Park in Cottonwood Heights. The lighting ended up to be perfect. I was surprised by how good everything turned out, we just kept walking forever until we were in some weeds and then we did the first look and voila, there you have it. It was fun to see how much in love Zach is with Tricia. The entire night, he was just in awe at how beautiful she was and he couldn’t believe he was going to marry her. Sometimes you just have to smile : ) I love these First Look & Bridals videos.
